I shouldn’t have remembered him.
He was just a guy who walked through a restaurant. I didn't know his name. We never made eye contact. There was no connection between us at all.
But I could feel him.
The tingle down my spine. The command in his presence. The snap of tension in the air around him. That was the first time I saw him, and I was captivated.
The second time was different.
He was in the mysterious back elevator of my apartment building. Our eyes met for a fleeting second before the doors closed, and I was staggered. My breath was robbed. My senses on high alert. My body hummed.
That was just the beginning.
He was the leader of the mafia. I was about to fall in love with him, and his name…

I didn't begin writing until after undergraduate college. There'd been storylines and characters in my head all my life, but it came to a boiling point one day and I HAD to get them out of me. So the computer was booted up and I FINALLY felt it click. Writing is what I needed to do. After that, I had to teach myself how to write. I can't blame my teachers for not teaching me all those years in school. It was my fault. I was one of the students that was wishing I was anywhere but at school! So after that day, it took me lots of work until I was able to put together something that resembled a novel. I'm hoping I got it right since someone must be reading this profile! And I hope you keep enjoying my future stories.

New Release/Bargains

Restless Hearts By Heather Van Fleet

COLLIN MONTGOMERY

Between boot camp and two TOD’s in Iraq, my buddies Max, Gavin and me have been through some serious hell. So the last thing I ever expected was to find the biggest challenge of my life back home.

My girlfriend died. I couldn’t even attend her funeral, let alone tell her goodbye or that I’m sorry I wasn’t there like I should’ve been.
But she left me a gift. The best and scariest one I could’ve ever asked for. One I didn’t think I could handle…until the day I saw her tiny blues looking up at me in that airport. Chloe.
Now here I am, raising my baby girl—with the help of my two best friends. Things couldn’t be better. Until she walked into my life.
All I wanted was a nanny. Someone to take care of my girl when I couldn’t. What I didn’t count on was Addison, the brown-eyed temptress with a body of sin, and everything I didn’t need, but suddenly wanted.

Another Single dad novel...
Ahhh, I love these.

But it's more like three men and a baby... Until Addison comes along.

She meets Collin in a bar. She thinks he's trying to pick her up, but it's all a misunderstanding. But anyway, with her drunk friend, and Collin being the gentlemen he is, wants to help them get home safely, but Addison has none of it and ends up speeding off in her car.

But then, jobless, she's struggles with rent and such and needs to find a job fast.

So when the coffee girl tells her she has something, she takes up the chance... Until she finds out it's babysitting Collin's daughter and she doesn't know what to do.

I swear, you think she has the job, then she doesn't, then she has it but then quits, then has another job, but gets fired, works as the nanny again, but then isn't their nanny and it's so bloody frustrating you want to cry lol
But it's worth it. The second characters are legends. I can't wait to get to know them more and read there stories. They are all different, each with a different personality but each will intrigue you. I honestly can't wait till I can read their stories.

All in all its a sweet, frustrating at times, romance.

Lucca (Made Men #4) By Sarah Brianne

Lucca was made the underboss, being what nightmares are made of.
Chloe was scarred by her past, learning too young that nightmares are real.
He has waited long enough to claim her soul, but he must take it from the devil first.
Her soul might have been better off claimed by the devil.
The only way to save her from her past is to delve into his.
The world as she knows it will come crashing down.

I'm the fu**ing boogieman.
I'm just a fu**ing freak.

Okay, as you know, I was NOT TEAMLUCCA, I was totally TEAMAMO.

But I didn't even get halfway through the book before I was swayed by Lucca and his love for Chloe.
I really loved him. He was incredibly charming in his own dangerous way and I couldn't put it down.

Chloe reacted to Lucca in a way she really needed too. He's perfect for her. Yeah, he went about getting her the wrong way but it was the ONLY way. I couldn't see that at first but then as the story progressed... okay, as the story began, I understood.

We get to know Lucca on another level. He's not such a mystery in this book and we get to see the real him, the man behind the cold mask. And I have to say, I'm now Team Lucca. I just hope Amo gets his own story soon. I hate knowing he's lost Chloe, but he didn't love her the way Lucca did.

Look at me... LOL
Read my CHLOE review and you'll see how against Lucca I was LOL I'm not singing a new tune and I couldn't care less aha He really did knock me sideways. Sarah Brianne has really blew us away with this one. She's changed so many minds and for a moment, I didnt think mine could be swayed LOL

The book is brilliant, the plot much better and although I would have liked to have skipped the rehashing past stuff, I still enjoyed the story.
The ending was fantastic.

Valiant (Jokers Wrath MC) By Bella Jewel

I’ve known fear.

I’ve known pain.

I’ve known horror.

I’ve known all of it.

I’ve guarded myself as best I can.

I’ve hidden myself from him.

I’ve changed my name.

I’ve moved.

But he still haunts me.

One day, I’m sure he’ll find me again.

I don’t trust anybody.

I don’t believe in anybody.

I just want to be free.

Until I meet Jack.

I’m not looking for him, but that’s the thing about heroes.

You’re never looking for them.

He won’t take no for an answer.

He’ll battle past my fear, my pain, and my horror.

He’ll sweep into my life like a hurricane, and it won’t matter how hard I fight.

He’ll break past my walls.

And he’ll change me.

Maybe, he’ll even save me.

I think this one has to be the best book in the next generation series. I couldn't put it down.

Baylee is running from her past, from her ex and with that, she's taken his pregnant sister with her to keep her safe from him. Its the only way.
But the sister???? She's selfish, she's rude, she's completely ungrateful and more to the point, she has no respect for Baylee, whatsoever.

I will admit, I was unsure at first about jack and Baylee being together, but they worked well. I actually grew to like them together a lot more as the book went on.
She needed him and he needed her.

I don't want to write a long review since it will ruin the book. It's one of those books you NEED to read.

Worth the read.
Great characters, great plot, great romance.

Deadly Silence (Blood Brothers #1) By Rebecca Zanetti

Paralegal Zara Remington is in over her head. Helping out a friend has put not only her job but her life in jeopardy. Zara needs help from someone she can trust - she just doesn't expect it to be the mysterious PI who recently appeared in her life.
Ryker Jones has problems of his own, including recovering from his investigative agency's recent brutal loss of a client. He wants to keep Zara at arm's length - and protect her from the reality of what he's running from.
But when danger arrives on Zara's doorstep, Ryker can't walk away. He might be the only one who can save her - if his deadly past doesn't catch up with them first...

Gah, are you a fan of the Sins Brothers???
Well, this is a prequel.
I didn't even know about this book until the other day and I HAD to ONE CLICK it as soon as I was told.
I always wondered if there was going to be another Sins brother novel, because come on, it ended on such a high note, we needed to know what was going to happen with Doctor Madison.

Well, meet Ryker, one of Madison's very own creations. Only, he thinks he's normal and just has heightened senses that he never really questioned until a young boy (I shall not name) (Which is killing me) turns up on his doorstep demanding he find Doctor Madison.
Now, he and his two brothers are in search and in there search, they put themselves in danger.

Zara, a paralegal has a 'casual thing' going on with Ryker, but when he turns up, seeing the bruise on her cheek, he moves things forward.
He wants more with Zara, something he's never wanted with anyone else, but with danger following not only Zara, but himself, can he keep her and (Mystery boy) safe???

These brothers are just as hot and mysterious as the Gray Brothers. But what the Gray's lack human wise, these boys have had it different. They know all about family, connections and the hard life that being in the outside world brings. Only, they share the same connection with the Gray brothers. They haven't felt softness or love from anyone but their brothers. All three Jones brothers were in the same boys home, one where they were beaten and mistreated and experimented on my Madison.

And my God the ending... We get to see some of our old favorite characters and I'm still in love LOL

This series is so much different to what I normally read and I love that about it. It's unexpected, different and so thrilling it will keep you turning the page until you finish.

I can't wait to read more from this series. I really can't.

Kick Push (The Road #2) By Jay McLean

There’s a single defining moment within every skater.
It lasts only a second. Two if you're good.
Three if you’re really good.
It’s the moment you’re in the air, your board somewhere
beneath you, and nothing but wind surrounds you.
It’s the feeling of being airborne.

The sixteen-year-old version of me would’ve said it was the
greatest feeling in the world.
Then at seventeen, I had my son.
And every single second became a defining moment. Even the ones that consisted of heartbreak when his mother left us.

Seventeen. Single. Dad.
That’s what my life became.
Yet, every day, I managed to find that feeling of being
airborne.
Or at least I convinced myself I did.
But I lied—to myself and to everyone around me.
Until she showed up; Tanned skin, raven dark hair, and eyes the color of emeralds.

You know what sucks about being in the air?
Coming down from the high.
Sometimes you land on the board and nail the trick.
Then kick, push, and coast away.
Other times you fall.
You fall hard.
And those are the times when it’s not as easy to get back up, dust off your pads and try again.
Especially when the girl with the emerald eyes becomes your drug...
And you become her poison.

Oh My God... This book.

The story starts off with Josh, a teenage boy with a pregnant girlfriend. He's kicked out of his house and with no where to go, he moves in with his girlfriend and her parents. But then she has the baby and leaves. She leaves him with a new born baby and nowhere to go after her parents tell him to leave.
It broke my heart reading this part because as a parent, I know how hard it is to raise a child and wanting to give them everything they need. But his situation was so much worse. His parents kicked him out, wanting nothing to do with him, he was a teen, no car, no job, no money and now had a new born baby.

But then he's helped by a stranger and with her help, he makes it and boy does he rock at being a dad.

Three years later, Becca moves in next door with the stranger who has become Josh, and Tommy's family.

I didn't even know what to make of Becca at first. She seemed TOO weird and not at all approachable. I had an incline she didn't have a good past and it's confirmed at the end of the book. Yes, her story broke my heart.
Her past has shaped her, molded her into the girl she is.
Not only does she not talk (although she can) because of an accident she was in, she's also troubled mentally.

I wouldn't even call this book a romance novel because although the two no doubt love each other, the book was more. It was a journey of struggle, of pain, of heartbreak, but most of all of courage and strength.
It was heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time.

There's one part in the book where Josh finally breaks down that I had my own melt down. I sobbed like a freaking baby and couldn't stop. I've felt those days. I think everyone could relate to that part in the book where everything becomes to much and starts piling on one mess and another and before you know it, you snap, screaming out your pain to the end of the world and back, hoping someone, anyone can hear your pain. Josh did that and it really tore my insides apart. I just wanted to reach inside the book, pull him out, and tell him everything was going to be okay.

The book does end on a cliffy.
I haven't started the second book yet, I need time to recover from this one. There's only so much heartache I can take lol
But I will be reading it. I want to see how the characters develope and if they find there way back to the places they want to be.
