A Redo (The Sterling shore series #6) By C.M.Owens

Allie Thrash

Wren Prize is the asshole who got me pregnant seven years ago. And gave me a false name. And walked out of the hotel without a backward glance. Sure, I know I wanted to have sex just as much as he did, but I didn't want to be tossed aside like garbage the second it was done. I also wasn't planning to get pregnant. Now, after seven years of hating the jerk, I'm living in his city, because it's a small world and I found him by accident. Yes, I realize how crazy that must sound, but my luck is just that bad. The problem is, the Wren Prize of today is not the Wren Prize I've envisioned castrating all this time. And I hate that I can't hate him the way he deserves to be hated. In fact, I'm terrified I might just be stupid enough to be falling for him.

Wren Prize
A daughter. I have a daughter. And I've missed over six years of her life because I decided to go for the world's biggest jerk award. I'm supposed to be the cool-headed one, the mature one, the one everyone goes to for advice. Yet I'm the one who fucked up the most. Sadly, I don't even remember that night. Too much fun, too much sun, and way too much booze. It's hard to ask for a second chance when you don't even remember the first chance you had. And every time I'm around Allie, even when she's casting me glares that prove she wants me dead, I can't help but wonder what that night was like. Well, what it was like before I ruined her.

After reading some bad reviews on this book I'm glad I still read it because I FREAKING LOVED IT.
Finding out Wren had a one night stand and was a complete tool to Allie was sooooo surprising. He seemed the most loyal, laid back and is loving out of the whole group.
It must have been just a bad time for him or something, but it never truly explains why. All I know is, he changes his last name and walks out on her the minute he's done. leaving her alone in a hotel room heartbroken.

Allie, not able to find Wren because he gave her the wrong name is shocked when she finds out who he is, who he really is and when the truth about their daughter comes out, Wren takes it badly.
I, personally, don't think he had the right. Had he stayed with her, given her his real name, then maybe, yeah, he would have, but he didn't so tough shit.

She finds it really hard to trust him and trust that he doesn't break her daughters heart. Even at six Angel is a clever little girl and has everyone wrapped around her little finger. Her relationship with Wren starts out slow because she's worried about her mom. It's another reason his relationship with Angel is so hard, with Allie always staring daggers in his back he finds it hard to just relax.

As the book progresses, and the heat sizzles between Allie and Wren, the three grow closer together. The first daughter and father date, so sweet, the first time she calls him dad, made me cry and not even going to comment on the other ridiculously sweet gestures he does for her. The three, unintentionally start to become a family and Wren and Allie find it harder and harder to stay away from each other.

Also, Allie, who lives with her bestfriend, Bella, are hilarious together. The things they are caught doing and saying is just funny as hell. Don't even get me started on Angels comment, after overhearing her mother and Bella talking, about Allie's secret boyfriend, BOB. LOL

All in all the book is a 5* for me. It was funny, had drama, wasn't cliche, and had an exciting finish that had me on the edge of my seat. Couldn't put the book down.
