Attraction is a short novella and I had been dying to read it for ages due to the blurb. It sounded so intriguing.
Starting the book we are introduced to Kaitlyn in a cupboard, doing what in there I have no clue because she doesn't seem anything like a timid, scared, shy girl. From the blurb I had presumed she hid in closest because of him, Martin, but it's not. Why she does it is anyone's guess.
The book was so funny at first, the things she said and the way she said them made me laugh, but then, 11% in the book it got old. It got so annoying having to keep looking up certain words to see what they meant it annoyed me.
Also, Kaitlyn's character was a puzzle. For someone so Clever, she was thick at the same time. I just didn't get it. She comes off this strong independent woman, but then there are times when I think, did she really just fall for that or say that!!!
The blurb tells us that the book ends on a cliffhanger, but all it felt like was it finishing mid-sentence. I won't be reading the next one. I didn't connect well enough and I hated the characters because they all seemed so alike. Even a jock, play boy player seems to have swallowed a dictionary.
Another reason I won't be continuing is because there was nothing there. Nothing that stood out to say...'ohhhh I want to know how that ends.' There was no build up or anything.
