Hopeless By Colleen Hoover

Sky, a senior in high school, meets Dean Holder, a guy with a promiscuous reputation that rivals her own. From their very first encounter, he terrifies and captivates her. Something about him sparks memories of her deeply troubled past, a time she's tried so hard to bury. Though Sky is determined to stay far away from him, his unwavering pursuit and enigmatic smile break down her defences and the intensity of their relationship grows. But the mysterious Holder has been keeping secrets of his own, and once they are revealed, Sky is changed forever and her ability to trust may be a casualty of the truth.
Only by courageously facing the stark revelations can Sky and Holder hope to heal their emotional scars and find a way to live and love without boundaries. Hopeless is a novel that will leave you breathless, entranced, and remembering your own first love.

This is the third time I've read this book and I loved it as much as the first time. I got reading it again after I read Ugly Love and noticed I had yet to write a review.

This book is similar to Kirsty Moseley's The boy who sneaks into my bedroom window. They are both empowering, emotional, inspiring books.
Everyday we hear something tragic on the news, read about someone being abused and we never think it could happen to us.

In this novel, you will be on such a high throughout. You will fall in love with both Holden and Sky and they will stay with you for a lifetime. They were both teenagers and at school. Holden had originally dropped out after having gone through a hard time the year before. Sky has only just began to start public school after having years of home schooling. When the two meet it's like a bomb explodes within both their lives.

The story is beautiful yet tragic, heartbreaking yet heartwarming. It gives you so much an emotional experience, you'll not even know what part you are crying over.

This is a 5* read and as I said before, It's my third time reading it and I loved it and was glued to it just as much. That's how brilliant this book is. It's one everyone should read once in their life and one that will be forever listed as you top favorite reads.
Well done to Colleen on this novel because it's exceptional work
