Razing Kayne By Julieanne Reeves

For two years, State Trooper Kayne Dobrescu has wanted only one thing: to understand why his wife inexplicably killed their children and then herself. Memories haunt his days and lay siege to his nights, leaving him questioning his reasons for living.

Jessica Hallstatt became a widow and single mother the night her firefighter husband died in a fiery explosion at an accident scene. While her husband may have died a hero, he left Jessica with deep emotional scars that haven't begun to heal.

When Kayne accepted a transfer to the mountain town of Payson, Arizona, he never expected to meet anyone like Jessica. From the moment he pulled her over for speeding, he was drawn in by her whiskey-colored eyes and sassy dimple. He knows she and her children are a forever type package, and he's vowed never to give anyone the power to destroy him again. Yet fate has other ideas, throwing Kayne and Jessica together in a fight against an unknown enemy to save the life of a child—and hopefully one another.

Seriously if you have not read this novel then you need to get your asses logged into amazon and go download it. Its on sale till 20th December 2013. £0.77 BARGAIN.!!!

Where to start is the question.
Firstly the whole novel is agonizing, beautiful, heartbreaking, breathtaking and life altering. The whole book had me gasping, crying, smiling, coo-in, and even laughing but most of all it has to be one of the best written novels i have read in a while. The story is just so WOW !! I have read so many books, with so much emotion and power written into them but something about this book just like a few others have had in the past, had me completely captivated, and absorbed it felt like i was reading a true story. Like this really happened and so wish this was turned into a movie.

Kayne is well HOT!! Not only that but he has been brought up wronged, dragged through his own personal hell, forced into marriage, then torn apart from the loss of his kids, wife and missing child.
The beginning had me in tears and i felt like i couldn't read anymore but as soon as i got to the part were little Gracie opens the door to Giant Kayne there was no way in hell i was putting the book down. All day i have picked it up read bits i could fit in until i couldn't take it any more and hibernated upstairs till i had finished.

Jessica is such an amazing woman and truly an inspiration even if she was fictional. Adopting seems like a last resort to some people but just like Jessica i see it as bringing life into the world and raizing them to be the best they can be just like a child carrying your blood. I believe in adoption on so many levels, children all over the world deserve to be loved and to love. So knowing she had adopted not one but four children was amazing. She was a brilliant mom and loved her character.

The story line has so many twists and turns an read is exhilarating to read. Was fantastic watching the characters play out and turn into a family although i agree with Jessica they felt like they belonged from the moment he pulled her over.
The story will take you on a journey of pain, sadness, life, drama, and happiness. Captivate you and is so sizzling hot you won't put it down. As Julieanne's debut novel she made one hell of a job because it was fantastic. I did lose who was who on some characters but i quickly catched up, i think it was because i just kept wanting to turn the pages to find out what happens next. All in all this deserves more then a 5* i can give it. Loved the book and thoroughly enjoyed reading about the compelling characters. Also loved reading about their sizzling hot relationship and watching how they help each other through their past demons in their previous marriages.
