Simple Perfection By Abbi Glines

Simple perfection

Woods had his perfect life mapped out for him. Rise up the ranks of the family business. Marry the rich girl of his parents' dreams. Pretend that wealth and privilege was all he'd ever wanted. Then a girl named Della breezed into town, a beautifully imperfect stranger who captured his heart and opened his eyes to a new kind of future. Woods is ready and willing to sacrifice everything for her when the sudden death of his father leaves him with his mother to care for and a business to manage.
Della is determined to be strong for Woods, even as she's quietly falling to pieces. No matter how far from home she's run, the ghosts of her past have never stopped haunting her. Struggling to hide her true feelings from Woods, Della fears she can't be his rock without dragging him down into the darkness with her. But is she strong enough to let go of the last thing holding her together?

I am nearly finished with Simple perfection, second in the sequel.

I haven't done a review for the first one as i hadn't started my blog back then. I loved the first one and i really don't know why i have only just gotten around to reading the this one.

Della in the first book is basically a mess. She feels weak also believing she doesn't deserve woods. Only she does. She had a traumatic childhood and my mind was boggled at the stuff she went through and made my heart ache for her. she really presumed she was going to go crazy just like her mom.
Woods dad sent her away in the first one and didn't do it nicely either. So when Woods goes and gets her back i was ecstatic, well this was until he got the news about his father.

Della is pretty much the same in the second novel and even with Woods telling her and showing her love she still jumps to easily at the wrong conclusions. Even with that though i think her jumping was the best thing that could have happened to her and Woods relationship.
Della got answers too questions she only ever asked herself, and found out more than she bargained for. All the information her best friend gives her finally gives her closure onto who she really is, and so she tells herself she is worthy of Woods love. Finally going back to the man who was a wreck for the weeks she was gone.
I really dislike Woods mother and Angelina, especially her, but then i also hate Nan in the Too far series. The pair of them would be hard to beat when it comes to been B.I.T.C.H.S.
I had read the Too far series first so i had read Blaire's point of view from when she steps in to help Della. Let me tell you she is badass.

I am told the ending is really good. So i cannot wait to see what surprise is installed for me tonight.
