Always By Ellery Rhodes

Always

After having a bad freshman year at her last school, leaving Juliette's heart in a million pieces. Determined to leave her past behind Juliette starts out in a new school.
This is where she sees him, Lucas, the boy next door.
Well the boy of the parents her mother worked for.
Both were inseparable in the child hoods, and was warned by her mom not to get attached.
It wasn't until Juliette's mom got fired that she realized why. so when she sees the new grown up, hot Lucas, she knows she is in trouble.....

Lucas never thought he would see her again. The girl he played with barefoot in his backyard. Lucas isn't the same carefree kid he used to be but one thing stays the same and that is he wants her, but his family are hell bent on keeping them apart......

This was an easy novel to get into, not once did it drag and was easy to read.
The story reminds me kind of like Romeo and Juliette - Ironic as her name is Juliette.
They both have questions they need answers too, as why they had to leave, why did they leave but neither like the answers when they are told.
Like Romeo and Juliette both characters come from different families. Lucas's are rich, powerful and popular. whereas Juliette come from a middle class family. Her mother working all hours to get by.
I felt so deeply for the hand Juliette is dealt, especially what the jerk of an x-boyfriend did too her.

I felt the book was predictable but yet still found myself reading it, even come the end i was excited to read the next. Still waiting on it .....
